How do you edit a footer in Divi? Either go to the Theme Customizer > Footer or go to Divi > Theme Builder > Global Footer.
METHOD A: THEME CUSTOMIZER
Step 1: Login to WordPress Admin by going to YOURWEBSITE.com/wp-admin
Step 2: On the sidebar menu, go to Divi > Theme Customizer
Step 3: On the Theme Customizer screen, click Footer. From there, you can edit Layout, Widgets, Social Icons, Menu, Bottom Bar, Copyright, and more.
Pro Tip: The social media icons (referenced by Footer > Footer Elements > Show Social Icons) are edited in WordPress Admin > Divi > Theme Options.
Step 1. In WordPress Admin. click Divi > Theme Builder from the sidebar menu.
Step 2. The Divi Theme Builder is used to visually update your header, footer, category, archive and other pages using the Divi Visual Builder. Click Add Global Footer to visually customize the footer across your entire website.
Step 3. In the Theme Builder > Global Footer, you can design your footer using the Divi Visual Builder by adding sections, rows and modules as you normally would. When you’re done, save it by pressing Control-S (Windows) or Command-S (Mac) on your keyboard.
Step 4. Once you exit the Global Footer’s Visual Builder, click the green Save Changes button at the top above the words, “Divi Theme Builder.”
Pro Tip: Using the Divi Theme Builder > Global Footer will negate the Theme Customizer > Footer method.
