Welcome! I’m Leighton, your webmaster.

I am extremely proud of you for coming this far! You’ve been an amazing student and you’ve learned so much about both website design itself and the business of web design.

In fact, let’s recap what all we’ve learned:

  1. In the first set of Lessons, we learned the Fundamentals of Web Design, Coding, Domains, Hosting, Emails, SSL Security, WordPress and Divi.
  2. Next, we learned How to Build a Website, the Divi Visual Builder, One-Page Sites, Multi-Page Sites, eCommerce and Mobile-Friendly Websites, where to go for Design Inspiration, Image Assets and what Adobe software you can take advantage of to level up your designs.
  3. Then, we pivoted to the Business side with How to Create a Brand! We learned about Brands, Creating Your Brand, Your Website, and How to Promote Your Brand.
  4. Fourth, we tackled one of the most desired skills in web design, and that’s SEO, Search Engine Optimization, and we learned tons of On-Site and Off-Site SEO Techniques, as well as how to incorporate this into your Web Design Business.
  5. Later, we discussed my favorite topic, Website Maintenance Plans, which include Hosting, Management, Updates and Security, and I gave you plenty of ideas on how to market and sell your Website Maintenance Plan.
  6. Finally, I took you through the entire Client Process, which included Earning & Interviewing Clients, Quoting Websites, Proposals & Contracts, Invoices & Taxes, On-Boarding Clients, Designing, Developing, Polishing & Launching Websites, and how to Maintain Your Clients.

All that knowledge is incredibly empowering. Whether you were new to web design, new to creating a web design business, or simply wanted to level up your existing agency, I know you found several gems you’re excited to apply in your business.
