How can you tell if a site is responsive?

Questions

Question Source: Quora

You have at least 3 options to determine if a website is responsive:

  • Use the official Google Mobile-Friendly Test. Enter your URL, click TEST URL, and in a few moments you’ll learn if the site is responsive or not.
  • Check the website on your phone. When you pull up the site on your smartphone, do you have to zoom in to view content? If the content is formatted correctly and you don’t need to zoom in or squint to read it, then the site is probably mobile-friendly.
  • Resize your browser. Shrink your browser window. Does the design change? Does the menu format differently? Does the amount of columns reduce? If so, you are probably looking at a responsive web page.
